Mothers Glow

It scared him a bit, that he was going to be a father. That something might go wrong in the end with complocations. That he might lose her. No matter what bothered him she shrugged it off with a smile and her usual fealess self. Thoug he knew she was also a bit afraid.
One night he was sitting next to the fire pit thinking. He stared intensely at the fire, slowly being absorbed in it. There wasn't a single noise that would break his concentration. All that was on his mind was how close the child was due. Wasn't she afraid of these next few months, with each passing day? The closer it got, the more he began to worry. Would he even be a suitable father in the first place?
A wave of a hand in front of his face broke him out of his trans. He quickly turned his golden eyes to look at his beautiful wife. She gave him a gental smile as she plopped down beside him. He felt stupid he didn't realize she had come in.
"What were you thinking of?" She hummed.
"Nothing," he replied stubbornly.
"Oh come on, spill it," she said with a slight shove on his shoulder.
With a heavy sigh he responded, "I'm just worried."
"I know I'm a bit worried too," she said.
"Kagome? Was it too soon?" Inuyasha said not daring to look her in the face.
Kagome shifted herself closer to him so that she was between his legs. Inuyasha slowly moved his hand onto her swollen belly as he rested his cheek on her head.
"Inuyasha, I couldn't tell you how happy I truly am right now and not matter what I don't regret this decision," Kagome said.
At that moment Inuyasha couldn't find words as he found himself absorded in her. She was positively glowing. He felt like she was physically beaming off light as she smilled up at him. It washed away the fears and worries in that moment. Nothing seemed to matter but them.

I tried again at another little story, bleh. I hope that these are at least okay.

It's been a while since I've drawn just them at all. I've rarely done it and thought of his pose and just had to draw it.
