Oh, Look!

    "It's twins!" she announced with a great big grin.

    Inuyasha was shocked by the news but at the same time surprised. He beckoned Aurora to follow him as he entered the hut quickly followed by his daughter who was fast to his heels. Kagome showed exhaustion as she turned and smiled at them. She held a baby girl who held Inuyasha's looks but lack of dog ears while the other which was a boy had his mother's slick black hair topped with a fine pair of ears like his father. Aurora's eyes glistened with surprise as her ears perked up in her excitement. She bolted over to her mother's side desiring to hold one. 

    "Mama! Can I hold the girl?" She asked using her puppy dog eyes to the best of her ability.

    Kagome laughed a bit slowly handing the daughter over her new sister. Aurora was amazed by her beauty. 

    "Shes really pretty!" Aurora said astonished.

    Aurora grunted and shifted a bit uncomfortable. She handed Kagome back the baby before rushing off to find the bathroom. Her mother laughed a bit in amusement to her daughter. Suddenly her froze slowly looking down at her new born daughter. She had gone limb without breathing at all. Her little chest was no longer rising. Inuyasha looked to his wife who seemed scared, following her gaze to the baby. He stummbled taken a back by the fact she had suddenly just died. Sango rushed over after realizing what was going on.

    "She was healthy though! She was just fine!" Sango gasped in horror.

    Kagome instantly began to break down in tears causing her son to start kicking and crying as well. None of this made sense to anyone at all. Aurora came back whiping her hands on her kimono confused to what was going on as they all crowded around Kagome who was weeping.

    "Whats going on?" she asked in the most innocent way.

    "Nothing everything is fine," Sango said who carried the dead child away.

    Kagome calmed down and realized the last one to hold her was Aurora. But how could she have possibly done something. She had merely held her and the body showed no sign of wounds. Aurora was puzzled by her mothers long had stare at herself.

    "What is it?" she asked.

    "N-nothing," Kagome stampered.

    "May I finally hold the other?" Aurora asked as she took a seat out streaching her arms in a sweet way.

    Kagome was extremely hesitant but allowed her to hold him.

    "He has mommy's hair too! But Father's eyes and ears!' Aurora stated realizing how he resembled herself.

    The baby seemed absolutely fine in her arms, even when Aurora gave him back. Kagome wasn't sure what happened to the other but this horrified her. Inuyasha comforted his wife through out the night and few days later.
