Warriors Fanfic

A gray tabby tom looked around a forest. His blue eyes glistened in the starlight. A blue gray she-cat trotted over to him. Her blue eyes glew with pride and wisdom.
"Hello Jayfeather," The gray she-cat said bowing  head slightly.
"Hello to you to Bluestar," replied the gray tabby tom with a flick of hsi tail.
Bluestar studied him."Is something troubling you?"
"No Im fine." Jayfeather said flatly.
"Follow me, I want to talk to you," Bluestar said.
Jayfeather was confused and got to his paws trotting after the once former leader Thunderclan. It wasn't very often that he would talk to Bluestar and not Yellowfang. His tail twitched a bit.
"Starclan has a gift for you waiting in your clan," the she-cat said.
"What do you mean by that?" Jayfeather asked confused.
"You shall be greeted by a Malpe and a Ice," Bluestar said.
"Theres ice everywhere its leafbear," He retorted as his tail lashed side to side.
Bluestar shook her head and disappeared. Darkness began to devour his sight. His paws probed himself up form the side of the Moonpool. He ignored the rest of the medicine cats as he walked down the rocky path to the river side. The thought of what Bluestar told him. He let a low hiss of frustration escape his mouth. Slowly he turned and began to head into the forest. Snow covered the ground in a nice blanket. Each step made a crunch sound.
Jayfeather made his say through the forest. His mind was clouded in thoughts trying to figure out what Bluestar was trying to tell him. How is a maple an ice a gift, Jayfeather thought. A heavily sigh escapped his mouth. His tail flicked side to side. He ducked as he headed into the bramble enterance. Once inside a she-cat bolted over to Jayfeather.
"Brairlight had kits! Everyones surprised cause she was never supposed to have kits!!," the she-cat blurted out, it was Cinderheart.
Jayfeather was bewildered and bolted towards his den in a hurry knowing Brairlight was still in here. How is this possible, Jayfeather thought. Once inside he could hear the mewls of kits and the purring of Brairlight.
"Jayfeather look at them Im so happy," Briarlight purred. "Starclan must have blessed me with two wonderful kits."
"Whos kits are they?" Jayfeather asked and sniffed the kits.
"Ours," She said with affection, her purring grew louder.
Jayfeather's fur prickled with unease," W-what are their names."
Briarlight nosed the gray kit with the dark gray tuft, right paw and left hindleg as well as tips of her ear, "This she-cat is Icekit."
Jayfeather swallowed hard,"And the other one."
"This ones a she-cat as well and her name is Maplekit," Briarlight purred nudging the brown she-kit.
Jayfeather's claws sunk into the earth below him. This is what Bluestar was talking about.. but I broke the warrior code, Jayfeather thought as guilt clawed at his insides. Briarlights purring began to fade away.
"Are you not happy with them... or me for having your kits," Briarlight asked.
"No they're perfect but it means im no better then Leafpool was," Jayfeather stampered and gave her a firm lick on the head.
"Well its not your fault I wasn't supposed to have kits yet I had them may be Starclan wanted you to have these kits," Briarlight said.
"Bluestar told me I'd be revieving a gift and that i'd be greeted by Ice and a Maple," Jayfeather explained.
"See Starclan purposely came me your---," Briarlight started but stopped when Firestar trotted in.
Firestars gaze rested on the new arrivers and sniffed them. His green eyes glazed over a bit and turned his gaze to Jayfeather. Jayfeather held his head high to show he was prepared for any punishment.
"They're wonderful may the surve the clan well you sure did alot for this clan and so may they," Firestar said and dipped hsi ear a bit.
Jayfeathers jaw dropped in surprise,"T-thank you."
"I'm a bit disappointed--," Firestar started but was cut off by Jayfeather.
"Its not my intention Starclan had given them to me!," Jayfeather blurted out as he felt hsi throat tighten with annoyance.
Firestar was surprised by this,"I didn't know that."
His tone was full of thoughtfullness and headed out. The kits let out a mewl. Jayfeather gave them a rough lick and curled up with hsi back pressed to Brairlight. Briarlight rested her head on her paws purring loudly. Jayfeather was lulled to sleep by her gental purring and so was his new kits, Icekit and Maplekit.
